RAF FILMS // Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions.
Updated April 2026 — Cairo // Egypt
These Terms govern the use of raffilms.vercel.app and the engagement of RAF Films ("we", "us", "our") for cinematic, commercial, and post-production work. By using the site or signing a project brief with us, you agree to these Terms. They are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt; disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo.
01 Cinematic Architecture
RAF Films specialises in bespoke cinematic pieces — commercials, short films, brand films, and music-led work. Once a project phase is delivered ("Final Cut"), the creative direction and final edit are locked to preserve narrative integrity. Additional changes after lock are handled as a separate change-order at the prevailing rate.
02 Project Lead Times
Standard pre-production drafting (treatment, shot list, schedule) takes 7–14 business days. Shoot and post-production windows are scheduled based on brief complexity, cast availability, and studio capacity. Rush-delivery is offered case-by-case with an expedite premium.
03 Intellectual Property & Buyout
RAF Films retains exclusive ownership of all raw footage, project files, working masters, and the RAF Films name and wordmark. Clients are granted a permanent, royalty-free usage licence of the final delivered film within the agreed scope (platform, territory, duration). Full transfer of the "Source Artifact" — raw footage, RAW files, and open project files — is available for a buyout fee of 40% of the total project value, documented in a separate transfer addendum.
04 Revisions & Warranty
Each deliverable includes a 30-day "Stability Warranty" covering technical corrections (conform errors, export issues, minor re-grades) at no additional cost. Two rounds of creative revisions are included within the original scope; further rounds are billed hourly. Post-warranty support is offered via tiered retainers: hourly, monthly retainer, or on-call mission-critical support for live campaigns.
05 Delivery & Hosting
Final deliverables are supplied via encrypted cloud link (download window: 30 days) and optionally mirrored to the client's preferred infrastructure on request. If the client self-hosts or re-encodes the delivered master, RAF Films is absolved of liability regarding streaming quality, transcoding artefacts, CDN latency, or any security issues arising from the client's chosen platform.
06 Client-Side Latency
Projects are scheduled against confirmed feedback windows. If client feedback, approvals, or material (logos, copy, product) exceeds a 14-day pause, the project is automatically suspended. Resuming development requires a "Re-activation Protocol" fee to re-allocate crew and studio resources, plus a new slot on the production calendar.
07 Start-up Protocol (Deposit)
To secure crew, gear, and calendar slot and initiate creative drafting, a deposit of 50% of the total project value is required before any production work begins. This deposit is non-refundable and serves as the official activation of the project roadmap. The remaining balance is due on delivery of the Final Cut and before the delivery download is enabled.
08 Licensing, Talent & Releases
Talent, music, location, and brand clearances are the client's responsibility by default. RAF Films can source and clear these on the client's behalf as a separate line item. The client warrants that any material supplied — scripts, logos, footage, brand assets — is free to use and does not infringe third-party rights, and indemnifies RAF Films against claims arising from supplied material.
09 Portfolio & Case-Study Rights
Unless the client requests confidentiality in writing at engagement, RAF Films retains the right to showcase delivered work — including selected frames, behind-the-scenes material, and the final film — on raffilms.vercel.app, on our social channels, and in reels and case studies. NDA and embargo requests are honoured on reasonable notice.
10 Liability & Warranties
The site and delivered works are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RAF Films, its founder, crew, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of the site or the engagement — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
11 Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Updated" date shows the last revision. Continued use of the site or continued engagement after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
