RAF FILMS // Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy.

Updated April 2026 — Cairo // Egypt

RAF Films ("we", "us", "our") is a cinematic production studio based in Cairo, Egypt. This policy describes how we collect, safeguard, and use information when you visit raffilms.vercel.app, enquire about a project, or engage us for film and commercial work. It is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

01    Data Integrity

We collect only the minimum technical parameters needed to operate the site and respond to enquiries. This includes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page) and interface preferences (theme choice) required for responsive rendering. No behavioural profiles are built, sold, or shared.

02    Footage & Asset Encryption

Client scripts, raw footage, working files, and delivered masters are stored on encrypted drives and encrypted cloud archives (At-Rest and In-Transit). Access is strictly limited to the director and the assigned production crew for the duration of the engagement, to preserve the confidentiality of your creative material.

03    Project Artifacts & Retention

Raw footage, project files, and working deliverables are retained for 180 days after final hand-off to cover revision requests and re-grade cycles. After this window, working files are purged from active systems; only delivered masters and final exports are kept in cold archive unless the client has purchased an extended retention package.

04    Zero Third-Party Routing

We do not sell enquiry data or client information. Personal data is processed only through trusted infrastructure partners required to run the studio — Vercel (site hosting), Google Workspace (email and storage), and YouTube (video playback on project pages) — and only to the extent necessary to deliver the service. Embedded YouTube players may set their own cookies under YouTube's own privacy policy.

05    Cookies & Local Storage

The site uses a small amount of browser localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference and sessionStorage to skip the intro animation on return visits within the same session. These values never leave your device. You can clear them through your browser at any time.

06    Licensing, Talent & Releases

For productions involving actors, contributors, locations, or third-party music, the client warrants that all necessary releases, clearances, and licences are in place — or contracts RAF Films to secure them on the client's behalf at an additional fee. The client remains the responsible party for the accuracy and scope of these rights.

07    Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing mohamedraafat.di@gmail.com. Where applicable laws grant additional rights (for example the EU GDPR), we honour those rights.

08    Liability & Compliance

RAF Films provides the cinematic and post-production craft; the client is and remains the sole "Data Controller" for any personal data or proprietary content they supply to us for use in the production. We assume no liability for the nature of material provided by the client or for any downstream use of delivered films beyond the agreed licensing scope.

09    Changes

We may update this policy periodically. The "Updated" date at the top shows the last revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
